Welcome to the first edition of the Good Seed Professional Mission Ministry newsletter. We are grateful for all that God has been doing through our missions, trainings, and partnerships in Ethiopia and abroad.
We believe that every profession is a mission field, and every professional is called to be a missionary. Through strategic training, mentorship, and resource development, we prepare believers to integrate faith and work, transforming their spheres of influence for the glory of God.
This newsletter highlights how the Holy Spirit is moving in communities, homes, schools, and workplaces as we equip believers to live with purpose and carry the gospel wherever they go. May these updates encourage you and remind you that the harvest is ready, and God is raising people for His mission in every field of life.
Ministry updates
Elihu Global Mission Seminary — Hawassa Ethiopia
In November, we launched the Elihu Global Mission Seminary in Hawassa, 9-month professionals mission training program. Through professional training, students are learning to use their careers as a mission platform, understanding that mission is everywhere. God is equipping and shaping believers to integrate faith and work, influencing their workplaces and communities for His glory.
Children & Teachers Gospel Training (Hawassa & Dilla Ethiopia)
We provided discipleship training for children, teachers, and Sunday school leaders across churches and Christian schools. The focus was on spiritual identity, teaching the Word effectively, and raising children as disciples.
Testimony: One teacher shared that the training completely changed her perspective; she now sees children as purposeful disciples with a God-given calling. The training renewed her passion and reshaped how she teaches and mentors children.
Professional Training- wondogenet Ethiopia
We held a professional ministry training in Wondogenet, helping participants understand that their career is their mission field. Professionals were equipped with practical tools for gospel influence, leadership, and living out their faith in the workplace. Many left with a renewed sense of calling and confidence.
Kenya Mission Exchange Program
Good Seed Professional Mission Ministry runs a Mission Exchange Program. At this moment, we mobilized leaders from Ethiopia and went to Kenya to participate in this exchange. Teams ministered in different churches in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Nyahururu.
During the program, we provided professional training and children’s ministry training for teachers and Sunday school leaders. We also conducted outreach activities in local communities. From all these programs, 41 people gave their lives to Christ, and many experienced deliverance and freedom.
This program demonstrates how God is using believers across borders to impact communities, equip leaders, and bring transformation wherever they go.
Deliverance church Christ Centre with Good seed profession for mission ministry Mission Report
Our partnership with Deliverance Church Christ Centre continues to strengthen our mission work in Hawassa and Dilla were marked by the strong presence of the Holy Spirit. We ministered in communities and churches through one-on-one outreach, and crusade. Many people got saved, encountered Jesus personally—experiencing healing, restoration, and renewed hope. Although we saw visible impact, the deeper work God did in hearts goes far beyond what can be counted. These missions reminded us that God is revealing His love in powerful ways across Ethiopia.
Circuit Riders — with Good seed profession for mission ministry Addis Ababa & Hawassa Mission
Together with Circuit Riders Nairobi, we held evangelism and mission training in Addis Ababa and Hawassa. Participants were equipped to share the gospel boldly and live with mission purpose. Many people responded to the message of Jesus, and young leaders were strengthened in their calling.
